BTHS
Class of 1965.
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN and SOME THINGS SEEM FOREVER

CENTRAL JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
This picture is after it had been remodeled with new windows, already a different look than when we attended. Later yet, it was torn down completely and is now the site of the Belleville YMCA.

OLD ST. CLAIR COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Many of us were there to hear both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson speak. Later, we were there to protest the wrecking ball tearing this courthouse down to make way for the new one.

BEL-AIR BOWL
Bel-Air was a place to bowl, dance, and just hang out for many of the Class of 1965. It was torn down in the spring of 2014 to make room for a new grocery store, Ruler. The Bel=Air business purchased the Panorama Bowling Alley and restored the sign to reflect a retro Bel-Air sign.

THE ARCH
The Arch was built during our 4 years at Belleville Township High School and completed in 1965, the year our class graduated.

SKYVIEW DRIVE-IN
One of our favorite places to go and things to do~~still a favorite for Southern Illinois and the Metro Area, one of the few remaining drive-ins in the country.

BTHS-NOW LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY
Many Bellevillians were upset when BTHS left this campus to build a new campus elsewhere. The Lindenwood University moved in and has become a catalyst for the resurgence of West Belleville. And, we will have our buildings restored and be able to visit for many years to come.
